He developed his professional career as captain in passenger and cargo ships in the Spanish company Balearia, sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, Strait of Gibraltar and the Caribbean Sea.
Alberto Tablón
General Manager
Captain, MBA from the Escuela de Organización Industrial as well as a DEA. He sailed in cargo ships and ferries for more than 7 years.
On shore, he has been Traffic Manager and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) of the Spanish company Trasmediterranea.
Their knowledge of international maritime regulations and their interest for continuous improvement led them to create OceanGlobe, specializing in the compliance of safety (ISM), security (ISPS) and maritime labor (MLC 2006) codes.
Today, OceanGlobe has professionals from different areas who are experts in the field of Compliance, technical-operational management and crew management, both for commercial vessels and large yachts.
Roland Lehmann
Director Yacht management
With over 30 years of experience as a licensed ship master, successful entrepreneur, and real estate investment consultant, Captain Lehmann brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our company. Having founded and managed numerous enterprises in the maritime industry, his background spans ship and yacht projects, as well as the management and operation of commercial vessels, cruise ships, and private yachts. Now, in 2024, Oceanglobe and Captain Lehmann are joining forces to offer a family-style Yacht and Crew Management service, combining our shared passion for excellence in maritime operations.
Marta López
Compliance Manager
Marta is a naval engineer and developed her professional career in the technical department of one of the large Spanish shipping companies in roles such as Technical Assistant, ISM Auditor, DPA (Designated Person Ashore), and Quality and Environment Manager. At OceanGlobe she heads the Compliance department.
Julian Palomino
Technical manager
Julian worked in the shipyard sector as Production Manager. Later he joined Bureau Veritas for more than 15 years as a Project leader for new constructions. At Oceanglobe he is in charge of the technical department.
Javier Carbajosa
Operations Assistant
Degree in Marine Engineering and Merchant NavyFirst Engineer Officer , has developed his professional career on various types of ships and companies, always related to the naval sector, specializing in engine room equipment. Master’s in Teacher Training, currently teaching at a vocational nautical training center.
